Are you Fost-adopt parents? Wanna be parents? Looking into Foster care? Adoption? Older Mom? Or maybe you are a member of my family? However you happened upon this blog, Welcome!

If you've been reading a while, I'm glad you are stopping by and I hope you'll continue!

This post will give you a bit of info about my blog.
and be your guide to getting around this site.

Here's my bio if you want to know more about me, your blogger.

I usually write a post in the not to early morning (Yawn) around 7:30 AM my time (Colorado) and another in early afternoon. Occasionally I’ll miss one of the afternoons and will post on the weekends. So, even if you are one of those get up at 5:00 AM to get started on the day people, you should have something to read. (and I hate you)

Notice on the right you’ll find lots of categories of subjects I’ve written about – enchanting categories such as Getting Started – which covers my own fingerprinting story and what to expect from your Home Study,as well as how you might get started on your journey.

The category Kids, has lots of feel good/feel bad stories about the various children I’ve had the last five years.

I’ve changed names and some details to help protect the privacy of the kids, but you’ll get the idea of what it is like to be a foster child and a foster parent.

In my home anyway.

You’ll find that I often reference old blog posts of mine – or my other favorite writers by hyper linking them (underlined in blue) in my post. Clicking on them will open a new window so you can continue to read my post and then also read my referenced material.

Feel free to search for specific material. Doing research on the Belarus foster child case? Type in Belarus in the search window and you’ll find several articles I’ve done on the subject, under the category, In the News.

Also on the right you’ll also find the links to other bloggers on Adoption.com, just click to read about adopting from a specific country or a special needs child. As you move around you'll find all the blogs on adoption.com are set up with same way, with categories and reference link at the top.

At at the very top of the page the forum for fost-adopt and various other resources on adoption.com – like articles and such.

Please take the time to support our sponsors and advertisers - they are paying for this site! On the very bottom of the page you'll find links to take you around the adoption.com family.

I love comments. All the bloggers do.

Take a moment and register to leave a comment, you only have to do it once, and if you’ve got your own blog or website, be sure to include it so I can go visit you. Then leave your comments!

Shy? Make up a name. I don't have to know who you are for real. But I'm sure you've got something to share.
