I usually write a post in the not to early morning (Yawn) around 7:30 AM my time (Colorado) and another in early afternoon. Occasionally I’ll miss one of the afternoons and will post on the weekends. So, even if you are one of those get up at 5:00 AM to get started on the day people, you should have something to read. (and I hate you)

Notice on the right you’ll find lots of categories of subjects I’ve written about – enchanting categories such as Getting Started – which covers my own fingerprinting story and what to expect from your Home Study,as well as how you might get started on your journey.

The category Kids, has lots of feel good/feel bad stories about the various children I’ve had the last five years.

I’ve changed names and some details to help protect the privacy of the kids, but you’ll get the idea of what it is like to be a foster child and a foster parent.

You’ll find that I often reference old blog posts of mine – or my other favorite writers by hyper linking them (underlined in blue) in my post. Clicking on them will open a new window so you can continue to read my post and then also read my referenced material.
