Over on the older adoption blog I’ve posted the
first 50 facts of 100 things about me.
Once I finish that list I might be inspired to do another 100 over on this blog.
This is a blogger tradition, that after you’ve blogged 100 times, you post 100 miscellaneous trivia about yourself.
I supposed it is so your readers can evaluate if they have guessed correctly about you.
Sort of like thinking what someone might look like before you met them, and then
Bam Wow Surprise! You got it all wrong. That short, skinny, dark haired woman in your imagination is actually very very fat with mean eyes and a Rosie haircut.
You can never tell about people.
It’s the assumptions that makes us get it wrong.
I’m always wondering about my readers. I know I have a few, but who are they? What kinds of families to they come from? How has adoption and foster care affected them?

So I’m asking.
What are your interests, goals, dreams?
Which type of posts are interesting to you?
I wrote hours of
posts about Ricky, and only got a comment or two. Were you bored?
I caused a bit of a stir when I was concerned about being a
racially mixed family, is it the controversy that makes it interesting?
Sometimes I post a blog and just KNOW it'll get a comment or two. Never does.
Then, another post, that I whipped out in a frenzy as I was late for an appointment, will get a flurry of emails.
What gives?
Do you need the How To stuff? I know a few readers do. Some of you are just getting started and I'm trying to be realistic about the emotional toll and the paperwork involved.
But do you care to read about it?
What about the details of my own journey to fost-adopt again?
The
fingerprinting saga for instance?
I’m not saying I’ll
actually change what I write, sitting down every morning to detail my life will continue as I’m inspired, and this is, after all, my blog.
But I'm curious.
I'll add more topics of interest to you if I can.
Just let me know.
Ok?
