His mother is 49 and dad is 51. Between the two of them, they have several children ranging in ages from 17-upper 20's and then this 5 year old. Older children were removed and adopted out several years ago in Illinois. The 17 year old has been out on his own for a couple of years now. As far as I am concerned, these two people should not have been allowed to procreate anymore. It was obvious they weren't good parents before, and now they are older and "too tired" to deal with the 5 year old. I saw that story too & it just made me so mad! People talk about the "magical bond" between children & their biological parents but the truth is that some people just should not be parents, regardless of how fertile they are!
