Love Thursday- Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs

This was not the blog I had planned, but given the circumstances listed in my previous blog, I felt it was fitting.

In addition to the house fire that our area battled with last night, a few hours before that, there was a barn fire in an area not too far away.

In addition to leaving their families, and warm comfortable beds, these men and women fought these fires during several waves of thunder, lightning and rain that rolled through our area last night.

The dedicated men and women who do this on a strictly volunteer basis, have my greatest admiration.

Cool. Kudos to all the volunteer firefighters and EMT. To have to endanger themselves and not getting paid for it is very noble indeed. Glad that your husband is doing that. He looks cool in that pic (assuming that it is him).

Btw, where's my daily Kelly fix?(because I enjoy reading your blogs every morning)

No, that's not my hubby. It's just a generic fire fighter picture. I don't really have any photos of him in his gear.

He does far more EMT stuff than fire.

I just posted my next blog, which will probably garner a few comments.
